About the role
Our client are an Australian-owned business, with multiple entities. In this role, you will spend half of your time working on one business and the remainder on one other. Combined, you will work approx 25 hours a week - you can chose your start and finish times, but the preference is for 5 days a week in the office (allowing for school drop off and pick up). They have been in operation for over 15 years and continue to grow year on year due to their exceptional service and professional results.
Reporting to the CFO, they are offering a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper – the role is permanent part-time. As the business continues to grow, there will be an opportunity to take on additional work (if this is of interest), the role is supported by a processing team based in the Philippines'.
Responsibilities
Working as part of the Finance Team, you will support the business through the provision of timely financial information that provides the basis for confidence in decision making.
In this role, you will be working across the following:
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable including debt collection
- Strong commercial accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably within the professional services industries like recruitment / legal / property etc
- Accounts administration
- Payroll and employee account set up
- Ad hoc administration as required
- Experience in Navision would be beneficial
