Onsite Recruitment and Retention Officer Primary Purpose of Position: 
  • To manage the recruitment process, including, but not limited to:
    • Conducting Interviews
    • Conducting background checks
    • Coordinating the medical process
    • Facilitating onboarding procedures in a timely manner
    • Advising unsuccessful candidates of application outcome
  • To fulfil the Purpose and Value Proposition of Food Industry People Group
  • To deliver on Key Performance Indicators (KPI) respondent to position classification.
  • To maintain strategic partnerships with clients and work collaboratively to continuously improve service offering.
  • To effectively grow numbers of People In Work (PIW) and Total Hours Worked (THW) by consistent placements week on week in line with specified targets by site
  • Improve retention and reduce high turnover.
  • To engage and follow up with all new employees on their first day first week and throughout their first 6 months of employment.
  • To understand the onsite requirements for each role being filled
  • Liaise with onsite supervisors to ensure the correct candidates are being placed in the correct positions.
  • Support company initiatives to develop new recruitment channels and candidate pipelines, when requested.
 
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Support workforce pipeline and recruitment strategies to ensure placement KPI’s for each site are satisfied.
  • Timely coordination of pre-employment medical process
  • Post placements follow up with candidate and onsite team at regular intervals.
  • Ensure visa compliance via accurate and timely VEVO verification prior to placement.
  • Maintain and develop internal and external key relationships.
  • Champion oversight of all onsite recruitment activities, tracking, strategies and performance
  • Assist with new business implementation (if applicable), placement of candidates and onboarding processes.
  • Maintain a strategic partnership with client/s and work collaboratively to continually improve service offering and meet client requirements.
  • Maintain a commitment to performance to deliver contracted recruitment services and contractual Service Level Agreements/stipulations
  • Ensure currency of Operational Management System (OMS) documents in circulation or publicised without modification from the controlled document housing.
  • Protect the company brand and reputation by ensuring your behavior and conduct reflects a professional and corporate image at all times including during travel and on site.
  • Employ overarching health and safety practices, leading by example.
  • Meet or exceed critical numbers as defined by the Group (i.e., financial and manning)
  • Ensure KPIs are achieved or exceeded week on week.
  • Complete employee reviews for their first week of employment
  • Communicate regularly with the employees and their direct manager to gain feedback and offer support to ensure a successful placement.
  • May act as the delegate OSAM or Value Partner in the absence of the OSAM or Value Partner where appropriate, ensure compliance to OMS processes.
