Operations Coordinator Primary Purpose of Position: 
  • To ensure a safe workplace by ensuring workplace health and safety processes, procedures, and systems are in place and being complied with as per FIP Groups Operational Management System (OMS) guidelines and (host) client requirements. 
  • To holistically manage the onsite workforce, ensuring that the host client site is adequately manned, and all employee and client related matters are addressed and resolved in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders to fortify operations. 
  • Fulfil the vision, mission, and value proposition of FIP Group and deliver on KPIs.
  • Maintain strategic partnerships with clients and work collaboratively to continuously improve service offering. 
  • Effectively grow number of People in Work (PIW) and Total Hours Worked (THW) 
  • Manage absenteeism and reduce Turn Overpercentage whilst increasing  
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Assist the Operations Manager with management of FIP Group business daily operations across all business units.
  • Assist with achieving budget targets for FIP Group business units are met.
·         Drive continuous improvement across all FIP Group business units to achieve FIP Group KPI’s.
·         Assist the Operations Manager with and develop all FIP Group Onsite Account Managers and onsite internal staff recruitment/ performance and overall employment.
·         Ensure compliance with each relevant State Legislation and continual improvement of Operational Management System (OMS).
·         Facilitate Internal Audit process for onsite internal staff teams aiding the Human Resources Manager.
    

  • Research Statutory obligations that apply to FIP Group and develop policies and procedures to ensure Statutory Compliance.
·         Ensure compliance with the QLD Quality Standards for Principal Employer Organisations.
·         Maintain records of all Common Law claims.
·         Maintain records of all internal staff files / complaints / Investigations / FWC cases.
·         Ensure that Professional Development is undertaken to attain and/or maintain necessary qualifications to legally and competently implement current duties and responsibilities pertaining to Statutory obligations and Australian and International Standards development.
·         Identify and relay prospective client targets utilising internal staff reports and existing client and business relationships and relay leads and contacts to the sales coordinator.
·         Mobilise new employees who arrive under the Pacific Labour Scheme
·         Source accommodation for new employees who arrive under the Pacific Labour Scheme
·         Conduct training whilst employees are in hotel isolation to ensure they are work ready upon departure of hotel quarantine.
·         Manage welfare issues that arise with employees.
·         Complete administrative tasks as required.
