Production Coordinator; Northern Territory
Primary Purpose of Position:
- The role of the Production Manager is to organise and control kill agendas through consultation with Livestock Manager and Yard Leading Hand
- Boning room production runs through consultation with Boning Room Supervisor and Sales
- Review in conjunction with Operations Manger, all performance data relating to daily production
- This data is included in quality records which documents assessment and processing summaries
- Review cutting patterns, cutting lines and primal yields
- Lead a change in culture towards continuous improvement in all aspects of production
Responsibilities:
- Work with Livestock Manager, Kill Floor Supervisor and Yards Leading Hand to plan kill agenda to best suit production flows
- Improve yields and create new product lines
- Ensure the standard carcass trim and the company carcass trim are to specification
- Daily review with Operations Manager, offal yields and report to Finance Manager
- Ensure maximum yield recoveries and piece recoveries
Certificate in Meat Processing and Meat industry experience is compulsory.
