The Quality Control Coordinator ensures the site’s Quality Management System (QMS) is maintained and supports operations to produce quality products.

Key duties include:
  • Maintaining the QMS in line with the Integrated Management System (IMS)
  • Ensuring ISO 9001 Certification is maintained
  • Supporting operations to meet and exceed quality standards
  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives
Responsibilities
Quality Management System (QMS):
  • Manage audit schedules, conduct independent audits, and ensure compliance with quality processes
  • Represent the site during external audits
  • Maintain the calibration register and Non-Conformance Register
  • Ensure compliance with supplier requirements for raw materials
  • Ensure ISO 9001 accreditation is maintained
Site Operations:
  • Report on and analyse quality KPIs, driving improvements and corrective actions
  • Ensure adherence to production processes and quality standards
  • Facilitate Root Cause Analyses for quality issues
  • Attend management meetings, report on site quality performance
General:
  • Lead and manage improvement initiatives
  • Project manage minor capital projects and lead trials for improvements
  • Champion the Fit 4 Future program
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and training to teams to meet targets
  • Support quality testing, inspections, and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental procedures
Experience:
  • QA experience in manufacturing (e.g., concrete, food, industrial, mineral processing)
  • Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
Skills & Abilities:
  • Preferred tertiary qualifications in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Expertise in quality processes, statistical techniques, and measurement equipment
  • Advanced knowledge of safety, quality principles, and manufacturing procedures
  • Strong communication, organisational, and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
