The Aquaculture Technician position offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team within the seafood industry, located in the picturesque setting of Bowen, Whitsundays.
The role offers:
- Competitive hourly rate + Super + Accommodation (all bills incl.) and 9-days fortnight roster
- Relocation assistance will be considered for the suitable candidate
- Operation and maintenance of automated control systems
- Testing WQ parameters
- Experimental feed trials
- Machinery operation
- Parasite checks and treatments
- Experience in a similar role and/or in a related field
- Forklift license, White Card, Tele Handler License, First Aid (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail
