Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a broad range of mechanical repairs to all plant and equipment.
- Assist the Senior Mechanic and Workshop Supervisor with the planning and coordination.
- Ensure accurate maintenance records are kept for plant and auditing purposes.
- Report all defects and problems to supervisor.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
- Ensure all work is completed to high-quality standards and within specified timeframes.
- Collaborate with team members to efficiently address technical challenges.
- Qualification in Engineering (Mechanical other heavy earthmoving equipment).
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills related to heavy vehicle systems.
- Heavy vehicle maintenance experience.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with colleagues and clients.
- A valid MR driver's license and relevant certifications.
