As an onsite recruitment and retention officer for our FMCG client, this opportunity requires a strong and capable professional with proven experience in high volume contingent / temporary recruitment.

The purpose of this role will be building and managing a workforce and identifying improvement opportunities for best practice service delivery.
This is your chance to focus on taking care of one client and the basic HR requirements involved with building and maintaining a reliable workforce. 

ABOUT YOU:
- While you will be someone that aims to succeed, enjoying meeting and exceeding KPIs in a timely manner, it is integral that you are highly organised, focused on establishing a trusted position as a valued business partner, taking care of generalist HR needs, specifically recruitment and retention. 
- With a solid track record (min. 1 year) in a similar role such as temp / labour hire recruiter or managing recruitment consultant, you may be someone that is tired of the sales in agency recruitment.  
- Based in Wagga Wagga, you will be able to take direction from the team leader, work as a member of a small team, confident and capable, enjoy the thrill of the chase, and driven to improve and deliver your best.    
 - Possessing previous experience in recruitment and workforce management, you will adopt a proactive approach to resourcing the site as required.  
- Prior experience in the food processing / meat industry is highly desirable.
- You must also be open to training and development opportunities, and willing to progress your career and add new skills such as workplace training.

CHALLENGES:
Responsible for recruiting and managing the operational workforce in a food processing plant, you will be responsible for the general HR of managing a workforce, as well as our contractual agreement and inherent service level agreements.

Engaging with both internal and external customers, you must be able to effectively transfer information in a clear and concise manner.

You will also need to be highly computer literate, able to utilise HR management tools to manage on-site operations, maintain accurate records and collate data for reporting purposes to the Senior Leadership Team and client.
