We are looking for a Line Leader who can provide leadership and immediate direction to production team members.

The role provides knowledge, experience, motivation, support and advice whilst managing daily production operations for one or multiple production packing lines allocated to them.

The Line Leader is responsible for promoting and acting to embed a high-performance team culture including a proactive approach to Safety, Quality and
Productivity.

Salaried staff role - $60,000

Key Tasks:

• Support the Production Leader to execute the daily production plan
• Recognise the contribution of every team member and encourages the team to work together, sharing ideas and maintaining good relationships in the execution of production tasks.
• Monitor team members performance during production to ensure adherence to safety, hygiene and quality procedures and requirements.
• Work with the Workplace Trainer and Assessor to ensure the team is adequately trained

Skills and Experience:

• Experience leading a team in a fast paced environment, preferred but not required for the right candidate
• Fantastic communicator with co-workers, management and customers from a diverse range of backgrounds
• Good physical fitness
• Excellent interpersonal, time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work well under pressure to tight daily deadlines
• Highly motivated to succeed and work as a team
• Results orientated

Candidates with the following will be looked on favourably:

• Experience in meat and food production
• Good with numbers
• Computer literate
• Understanding and commitment to food safety practices
