Seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our emergency vehicles fleet team, responsible for maintaining and servicing critical vehicles to ensure optimal performance during life-saving missions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
- Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on heavy vehicles including trucks, buses, and commercial vehicles.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
- Ensure all work is completed to high-quality standards and within specified timeframes.
- Collaborate with team members to efficiently address technical challenges.
- Always adhere to safety guidelines and protocols.
- Trade qualification in Motor Mechanic stream
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills related to heavy vehicle systems.
- Heavy vehicle maintenance experience with an excellent understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with colleagues and clients.
- A valid MR driver's license and relevant certifications.
